
BACKGROUND
As a R&D Senior Director or VP, I was often frustrated by executive recruiters who did not understand the field and searched on keywords, leaving me or my team to sort through too many submissions.
I always wanted to start my own business, and matching people with great companies was always of interest. Technical management is about people and technical matters, as is recruiting. I worked in startups as well as big corporations, led large technical teams, and have successfully run P&L within a company. Overall, a broad Telecom experience including Wireless, Satellite, Semiconductor ASSP, Optical transport, embedded systems, microwaves, and DSP wireless concepts is applicable to many technical fields.
My value proposition is simple. Apply experience in running R&D teams and business teams to pick and choose candidates that will help my customers.
Non active job seekers respond very favorably to recruiting calls from a search company staffed with people who understand their technology and their business and can discuss the field intelligently. The odds of gaining their interest is higher with our knowledge of their business.
