CONTINGENCY:

As an VP in a startup, and a Senior Director in Semiconductors, I learned retained search to have a questionable price / value proposition. That’s Talent Forte’s standard terms are contingency based. We will provide feedback on our ability to find the candidate, so you can start searches with others in parallel to fill positions. We will never send mismatched CVs as a result of a keyword search. We work with third parties as needed. Your satisfaction is our sole metric for long-term success.

EDWIN MUTH - BIO

Edwin Muth created Talent Forte in December 2018. His significant experience in Semiconductors, Wireless, Electronics, and Optical companies places him in a position of understanding the needs of the hiring manager in better detail than many in the recruiting industry. Having the experience in successful product development, running R&D organizations of various sizes, and being in the P&L role ($25-$75 Million a year) as a general manager provides a deep understanding of how companies and startup companies work. He has a successful track record in identifying suitable candidates based on business and technical understanding of the roles and the organizations.

Prior to cold starting Talent Forte’ss technology focused searches, Edwin was a Director of Program Management in SubCom, a manufacturer of turnkey submarine cables serving Telecom and Internet Content Companies, where he oversaw the product pipeline during a 7 year stay. Prior to that, Edwin was an independent consultant for two years. As a Senior Director of Marketing and Engineering for 9 years in Agere Systems and Infineon, he introduced the first Satellite Radio Systems chipsets to the automotive industry in the dual role of P&L and engineering team leader.

As VP of Engineering at SyChip -a successful semiconductor packaging and solutions startup– the came to understand the value of speed of decisions and match to team culture .

Edwin holds a Masters in Electrical Engineering from New York University Polytechnic, and worked in Bell Laboratories and related companies throughout his career. He holds 15 patents and led highly innovative teams .
